Papillon Paws is a family-owned, AKC-approved breeder of papillon puppies. For more than twelve years we have raised these bright, quietly devoted little dogs and matched each one with a home that suits it.
Papillon means butterfly in French, for those graceful ears.
They notice when you come in, when you sit down, and when you need company. Then they settle beside you.
Papillons bond closely with their families and like to be wherever you are. They are affectionate without being needy, and happiest sharing an ordinary day with you.
Among the most trainable of the toy breeds, they are eager to learn and enjoy small tasks, gentle games and new tricks. A patient, positive approach brings out the best in them.
Light on their feet, alert but polite, and easy to bring along. Their size and gentle manner suit apartments, family homes and quiet retirements alike.
